Breakfast Request
We were awakened this morning to a little voice hollering out from the crib on the other side of the house. The word being called out: "Pantates, pantates!" We made pancakes for breakfast and had one happy Goose.

More Backyardigans fun
For Jacob's party, we got some Jacob-sized Mylar balloons of two of his favorite Backyardigans, as well as a few Backyardigans dolls for him to play with. He is definitely having fun with his new friends.

Birthday Party!
On Saturday we invited over a bunch of friends for a big, Backyardigans-themed birthday party! Jacob had a ball and got to socialize with lots of kids his age, which is a rare treat. The Krols graciously allowed us to use their home for his party, since we were originally planning to play outdoors and they have a nice big backyard, but it was a little too wet outside so we ended up playing indoors instead.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Jacob!
Jacob woke up this morning to find his birthday present, a tricycle and helmet. He's still trying to get the hang of it, but should be zooming around pretty soon!

Some More Pictures
Here are more Goose antics from the last few weeks.
A fun story: When my brother was little, and my dad would get into projects around the house, he would say, "Doin', Daddy, doin'?" Now, when we get involved in a project at home, especially one that makes noise like with a hammer or drill, Jacob will come running, saying, "Daddy (Mama) doin'?" He came up with that all on his own. Totally cute!

A Couple of the Promised Pictures
One of Jacob's new favorite things is dress-up. Here he is sporting a pair of my sweatpants.
Jacob is doing really well in his new room. Nap times have been difficult, but we bought blackout panels and have accepted the fact that it takes awhile for him to fall asleep. Otherwise, he loves his airplane room. We are really thankful for the airplane rug from Grandma and Grandpa, and the personalized airplane picture that was hand painted by Grandma. They look awesome. Thank you so much!
